Grayshott Folk Club plays host to top fiddle player Steve Wickham, who’ll be heading to Surrey from Ireland on Friday, May 10. Later in the month, Wigan-based folk-rock band Merry Hell (above), including three members of former folk punks The Tansads, will perform on May 31. 7.30 pm.

Surrey Sculpture Society will showcase its latest creations at Ramster Garden, Chiddingfold, this month. The beautiful gardens – renowned for their stunning spring displays of rhododendrons and azaleas – will be transformed with various sculptures along the woodland paths.

Vivache Chorus

This month, Europe’s largest trading card show comes to Sandown Park Racecourse with over 275 daily trading tables, including Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Formula 1, Disney and Marvel cards. Along with tournaments and games, there will be custom card workshops, trading zones for kids, and guest star visits from England footballers John Barnes and Emile Heskey, who will be available for Q&A and signings daily (Heskey on Sat; Barnes on Sun).
