1. St Mary's Christmas Fair
The annual St Mary's Christmas Fair takes place on Nov 16 at St Mary's Church, Barnes. Expect Christmas cards, gifts, books, bric-a-brac and more, plus a raffle, tombola, and cafe.

3. What the Dickens?
...is a new play with music created by award-winning Richmond-based playwright Clare Norburn, BAFTA-nominated director Nicholas Renton, and imaginative theatre company, The Telling.
Featuring colourful Victorian songs, street music and carols performed by a cast of seven who act, sing, dance and play instruments (sometimes all at the same time), the play sees Dickens visited by the women of his past.

4. Barnes Art Fair
Bigger than ever before, this year's Barnes Art Fair sees over 50 professional fine artists and contemporary painters, printmakers, sculptors and ceramicists from Barnes and further afield exhibit a diverse selection of works for sale, raising money for several local charities.

6. New Aqua Aerobics
In addition to adult, child and baby swimming lessons, SwimWay is now offering aqua aerobics classes in its recently built 16m indoor pool near Kew Gardens.
