St Mary Magdalene Church provides a well loved spiritual space in a busy world and was built in 1838.
If you want to find us, don't go entirely by the postcode RH5 4JX !
Go off the A24 at the subway into South Holmwood village by Betchets Green Road then turn left up the drive past the church notice board. The church is at the very top and it has a large car park with a couple of spaces for disabled badge holder parking. There is also a loo suitable for disabled people in the adjoining Parish Room.
You will find people gathering here at 10am on Sundays and at 12 noon and 6pm on Wednesdays but many other people use the building for their own quiet moments and respect it as a place of prayer.
Our children and young people meet in the Parish Room on Sunday mornings for their own Young People's Church and in Beare Green Village Hall at 4pm (YPC)
The church is open every day from 8.30 - 9am (when a few of us meet to give the day to God in prayer).
Look at the news and events page for all the fun things we do and opportunities for worship.
We value the Bible and encourage people to discover it for themselves.

We are always in need of funds - there is no subsidy from outside sources, contrary to popular opinion. We mark the milestones of life for people and are still the most comprehensive source of community life, drawing people together from all walks of life and from the ages of 1-100 so anything you can offer towards our running costs is greatly appreciated (see news page for details). It costs us £1,000 per week to stay open.
