Westcott has been served by its two churches since the mid-nineteenth century: Holy Trinity is the Church of England “parish church”; St John’s, which has a free church tradition, is now owned by Holy Trinity and is used for social/community activities as well as occasional worship and private hire.
The Church in Westcott today, then, is one Church, vibrant in prayer, worship, social activities and ministry, aiming to provide for all ages and traditions. We enjoy normal Sunday attendance of c.130 with over 60 children on roll, and employ a Families Worker and a Youth & Community Worker who run many activities for young people.
More details of our work in the community can be found using the links on the left. The village of Westcott, lying in an area of outstanding natural beauty, is a friendly, welcoming community. Church and village work hard together to encourage a sense of belonging.
All are very welcome at our services and activities.
