Goldsworth Park Recreational Ground

Goldsworth Park Recreation Ground offers a range of facilities and activities including two adult and three junior football pitches (with changing rooms), an artificial cricket wicket, BMX track, skateboard ramp, multi-use games area, climbing wall and children’s play area. Goldsworth Park Recreation Ground is also home to Woking Hockey Club who have two artificial hockey pitches and a pavilion. The lake also offers fishing from purpose built platforms and is also used by the local Sea Cadets and the Model Yacht Club. The lake and woodland area are also popular with wildlife enthusiasts, particularly bird spotters. The recreation ground and lake are supported by Goldwater Lodge, a community facility run by the local residents association, large car park and public toilet. A separate community facility housing the sea cadets has also been recently constructed.
