Step away from crowded high streets this festive season to find friendly independents brimming with unique items made by local creatives. I've rounded up four that particularly caught my eye below.
You can also scope out the Surrey Artists' Open Studios across the county, where local makers will be offering festive opportunities to purchase original paintings, prints, sculptures, ceramics and glasswork.
