A trio of great cyclist services have joined forces to bring The Cycle Exchange to local two-wheeled travellers
Two-wheel enthusiasts in Kingston (or anyone enjoying the cycling opportunities offered by then nearby Richmond Park) should keep an eye out for The Cycle Exchange, a new cycling co-operative that launched last month on Richmond Road, Kingston.
A three-way collaboration between second-hand bike dealer Road Cycle Exchange, repair experts The Bicycle Service and mobile coffee baristas The Selfish Bean, this new bike exchange-cum-cafe-cum-workshop brings a trifecta of great services to this cycling hotspot.
Road Cycle Exchange previously operated online, but decided they needed a brick-and-mortar showroom to reach the next level, while The Bicycle Service was looking for a workshop space that could be easily accessed by local cyclists.
The two had a history of working together to refurbish the former’s pre-owned bicycles, but “after finding the right spot, we realised there was an obvious missing link – coffee – so in stepped The Selfish Bean,” they tell us...
