Staying fresh is hard enough in our own temperate climes; with all the sun, sand and sangria of a summer holiday it can be nigh on impossible! Professional make up artist Gintare Lisauskiene shares her summer holiday saviours...
As I write this, I’m half way through packing to go on holiday for 2 weeks. Every time I go away I bring my beauty essentials with me; the same products I use on a daily basis. I keep a prepped holiday beauty bag sitting in my otherwise empty suitcase all year round, ready for my next destination – be it a staycation or a trip abroad. This allows me to relax and not worry about rushing to the local pharmacy in Capri to buy something that ‘will do’, if that's even an option – sometimes in middle of the Mediterranean the next shop selling beauty essentials is 20 minutes away… by sea plane!
For myself, stress free travelling is all about knowing I won't have to worry about my skin having a bad reaction to a new product while I’m being affected by jet lag, the sun and salty water. It's always better to be safe than sorry. So without further ado, here are my summer holiday saviours!
