The Tiffinians, Kingston's very own capella chorus and the young winners of Voice Festival UK 2014, will be performing a free gig at the National Portrait Gallery on April 3
Every Thursday and Friday from 6pm – 9pm, the National Portrait Gallery in London hosts Late Shift - a programme of culture events including talks on art and history, workshops of all sorts, and live music, with the opportunity to relax at the Late Shift Bar.
April 3 sees the Late Shift slot occupied by the Tiffinians, a close-harmony choir from Tiffin School in Kingston Upon Thames, courtesy of the Brandenburg Choral Festival. They'll be performing some classic capella tunes from 6:30pm.
These boys have some marvellous voices, which propelled them to victory in last year's Voice Festival UK. A performance from them is a rare treat - even moreso when it's completely free. You don't want to miss this local talent if you can help it!
On the same evening, Susan Wilson will be hosting a free drawing session in the gallery, so feel free to bring along a pad and pencil if music gets you in an artistic mood.
