Hampton Court Palace
This Easter weekend Hampton Court Palace will be hosting its 500 year celebrations with fireworks, music and food
Celebrations for the 500 years of history of Hampton Court Palace have got off to a flying start with last weekend's Dusk til Dawn sleepover and Half Marathon, but the first major marking of the momentous anniversary comes over the Easter weekend.
Between April 3 and 5 you can join The Party: 500 Years of Hampton Court Palace where there is a spectacular son et lumière show with fireworks, 500 years of music and food, visits to the Tudor kitchens to see beef being roasted, before heading to the Undercroft for a taste. There is also a cartoon gallery (over 12s only) and a champagne bar. From Easter the famous wine fountain will once again flow every evening with a free glass for visitors and historical characters will once again wander the corridors and gardens.
