An ethereal collection of figurative work from three different artists
The Art Agency Gallery will be unveiling their latest exhibition, Silhouettes, this November.
This is their first ever show where all the work focuses on one subject, and the work of three artists will be exhibited. Inspiring paintings from Bill Bate and Rachel Mortimer creatively express the shadowy nature of the human form, while Gary Scott’s dynamic sculptures convey life and energy.
"I aim to produce work which feels dynamic and conveys life and energy," says Gary Scott, speaking about the work he will be exhibiting. "For me it is these qualities that make sculpture powerful and ultimately mesmerising. To do this I seek to portray depth of character and emotionality and to introduce a feeling of fluidity – to my mind this brings sculpture to life and makes it believable."
For those who would like to meet the artists themselves, the gallery will be holding a private viewing on November 14. Come along and enjoy a glass of Prosecco while you talk to the artists and find out more about the inspiration behind the works. Paintings and sculptures will be available to purchase.
