Guildford locals sum up the upcoming Fringe Festival in just one word.
The Guildford Fringe Festival runs through the city from July 1-27, with all manner of performers and projects welcome, many of which are free to enjoy. Emma Ashley looks at five favourites
The Guildford Fringe Festival promises to deliver some of the best local and national entertainment, including a huge variety of acts ranging from cabaret to poetry slams, informative talks, music, comedy, theatre and more, all taking place in venues across Guildford, many of which will be on show at the Edinburgh Fringe later this year.
Looking at the wide line up for the festival, I have picked out five acts to give you a sense of what’s in store. Also worth a special mention are the various events being held in different venues on National Armed Forces Day, June 27.
