Kingston has a ton of great events going on this Easter, and on April 2 and 9 kids can enjoy Thumbs Up It's Thursday, a range of free spring activities available in the town centre.
The Easter holidays loom upon us, but never fear - whether you're local or visiting, Kingston has a host of events to keep kids happily occupied. There's magnificent drama for children and adults at the Rose Theatre. There's bowling and cinema at the Rotunda. There's all the other mainstays of Kingston entertainment...
...but it's Easter Thursday that'll really get kids going, with stores and services all around the town centre offering free activities for children. Which Thursday? Well, two of them - April 2 and April 9.
Here's a quick look at ten places taking part - and don't forget the Student's Union from Kingston University, who've put together a free Easter Egg Hunt for April 2. You can sign up on the day, at their stall outside Barclays on Clarence Street. They've even got vegan eggs available! I wonder if they're so organised when it comes to coursework...
Once you've worked up a good appetite, there are restaurants taking part in Thumbs Up It's Thursday, too, with activities and offers for junior eaters. You can find them here.
Activities will also take place at some locations on May 28
You can find more details for Thumbs Up It's Thursday on the Kingstonfirst website.
