Enjoy a concert led by the Voices of Cambridge Ensemble (VOCE), a group comprising ex-Cambridge choral scholars and professional singers. Sung by candlelight. This December, there will be a service of Nine Lessons and Carols, comprising readings telling the story of the birth of Jesus and, of course, carols.
3. Guildford Cathedral

The annual carol service supporting charity Age UK will occur in the magnificent cathedral again. With mince pies served before the service, performances by The Rock Choir and various Christmas readings, the service is set to be tremendously festive.
4. Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall

Tea or coffee and biscuit whilst joining the Ashtead Choral Society as they sing a range of famous carols. All profits will go to local charities, such as The Besom and My Time, which are more reasons to sing your heart out. Tickets £2.

All are welcome to the atmospheric 'Carols by Candlelight' at St Matthias' Church in Richmond. Set in a beautifully preserved Victorian Church, this evening of carols and community cheer is served alongside delicious mince pies and refreshing mulled wine.

Always a popular choice, the Strawberry Hill House Christmas Concert is back this year, promising an evening of delightful music. It features unmissable performances from soprano Kirsty Taylor Stokes and pianists George de Voil and James Speakman.
This year's programme features the beautiful 'Evening Prayer' from Humperdink’s 'Hansel and Gretel' and Rutter’s 'Angel's Carol.' Plenty of delicious refreshments will be provided, and song sheets will be available for those wishing to join in.
