The first Hampton School Arts Festival is open to the public June 10 and 12, with celebrity guests and a comedy night on June 13
Steven Moffat, writer and producer of hit BBC shows Doctor Who and Sherlock, is just one of the big names attending the first ever Hampton School Public Arts Festival, an event intended to let an audience - including Hampton School pupils - learn from today's leading artists.
Among the other luminaries from the worlds of TV, Drama, Literature, Art and Music are TV-radio presenter Joe Forrester, author of historic novels Lawrence Norfolk, and the up-and-coming band of former Hampton School pupils, JJ & Oscar.
These guest speakers will be presenting lectures over the two days of the festival, offering insights into the paths they took to reach the pinnacle of their artistic fields.
