TV presenter and historian Dan Snow will visit Woking High School on June 9, as part of the Waterloo 200 celebrations
Youngest son of historian and presenter Peter Snow, Dan has himself become a familiar face on the BBC, with regular appearances on The One Show to provide some much-needed historical knowledge to viewers.
He'll be visiting Woking High School tomorrow, on June 9, as part of the Waterloo 200 celebrations for the bicentenary anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. They're supporting events at schools around the nation, to help educate children about the importance of this battle.
Year 8 pupils at the school have researched a local veteran of the Battle of Waterloo, and will have the chance to present their findings to Dan Snow on the day. Perhaps he'll learn something new, too!
You can enjoy a discussion of Napoleon's 100-day campaign - which ended with his defeat at Waterloo - from Dan and his father Peter, on BBC iPlayer.
