Surrey Police officer lets freshers decorate him with feathers
We're really starting to love Surrey Police's sense of humour.
First, they used their official twitter account to wish a wanted criminal who skipped a meeting with his probation officer a happy 21st birthday.
Then, they tweet reminding people not to dial 999 over spiders, and post photos of the police officers larking around with freshers.
Now, they've revealed the winner of the Great British Bake Off, and tweeted their own 'recipe for personal safety', which featured such delicacies as '1 tonne of locked car' and '1 free range mobile tucked away'.
"Congrats Nancy! For all you #GBBO fans out there we leave you with one final recipe featuring our #SafetyDozen " tweeted @SurreyPolice last night.
We just love the fact that a member of the police force has actually taken the time to make this picture, using some very sophisticated clip-art technology and geeky humour.
However, not all twitter users found it as endearing as we did, and many who hadn't seen the final yet got a bit cranky.
"Seriously Surrey! I managed to avoid it by not following potential spoilers! And you of all people do it! #bl**dycoppers!" tweeted @pcangela581.
"Ahhh! I am at Asana Health and was going home to watch the final! Whose idea was it to stick the result on twitter? Thanks!" added a miffed @AsanaHealth.
Ah well, you win some, you lose some.
