After a recent 'Pitch Up' event at Not On The High Street's Richmond HQ, two Surrey locals saw their beautiful and unusual products rewarded with a sign up to the company's prestigious online store.
Bobo Stitch
Hannah Sturrock has always loved cross stitch but initially ignored the desire to stitch all day so she could get herself a law degree instead. She went off the idea of becoming a barrister (the wig didn’t suit), and so started running charity events instead before ending up as 'Manager of Christmas' at Great Ormond Street Hospital. No other job title was ever going to match that so after having two children, Wilfred and Olive (or Bobo as she is fondly known), Hannah listened once more to the call of cross stitch.
She started designing her own contemporary patterns and in 2013, her company Bobo Stitch was born. Since then the company has grown year on year literally stitch by stitch, with several exciting ‘yippee’ moments including the release of Hannah’s book Modern Cross Stitch (Cico Books) in October 2015, as well as plenty of appearances by Bobo Stitch's kits in craft and mainstream publications plus coverage on Create and Craft TV.
Hannah is the proud purveyor of cross stitch kits and a joyous embracer of the modern craft revolution. She lives in South-West London with her husband, two children and a ridiculously large stash of embroidery thread.

Blue Bowl Kitchen
Richmond local Emma Nichols is the chef and creative force behind Blue Bowl Kitchen. Inspired by her mother's delicious from-scratch cooking served in beautiful blue chinaware, she decided she wanted to share her middle-eastern culinary heritage with the world and launched her own catering company.
Becoming obsessed with the edible flower petals she used in certain traditional dishes, Emma started experimenting with different ways within which to serve them. This lead to the creation of some gorgeous flower lollipops for a friends wedding a few years ago, as she wanted to create something delicate for her friend that would last longer than an evening. Two years later Emma is making them to order for a wide range of special occasions.
Each lollipop is handmade with quality British ingredients, all natural flavourings and UK grown edible carnation flowers. Emma is constantly working to develop new delicious flavours, believing that sometimes simple is superior.
Lollipops can be personalized through petal colour, flavour, and hand-calligraphed tags to make them unique to each event/person.
