A road rage incident got out of control in a Farnham supermarket car park, as one woman ended up punching another woman over a blocked exit.
After completing her shopping at the Sainsbury's store in South Street on Saturday 6 September, a woman attempted to drive out the car park.
She found the exit blocked by another vehicle, and as a result an altercation occurred between the driver and a further two people.
The victim, who is a local, was then verbally abused by a man and punched in the face by another woman.
Officers in Waverley are appealing for witnesses following a road rage type incident in a Farnham supermarket car park.
"This was a nasty incident which left the victim shocked and suffering a nose bleed with some facial pain" said PC Julian Crabbe.
"I am urging anyone who may have been in the car park or shop and saw the offence to contact Surrey Police with information. You may hold the detail which could help officers locate the offenders and bring them to justice.”
Anyone who can help the enquiry is asked to call 101 quoting reference 45140074912 or by using the online reporting system found at http://www.surrey.police.uk/. Alternatively the independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
