On Saturday June 4, a crowd of 5000 concert-goers at ONE LIVE were thrilled with the music festival dedicated to One Medicine in Loseley Park, Guildford, that included a special performance from Take That member, Mark Owen

In a surprise appearance, Mark Owen took to the stage to sing an acapella version of ‘Shine’ and also read a thank you letter from his dog, Betty, who was treated by Noel at his veterinary practice, Fitzpatrick Referrals in Surrey.
Other surprises were BBC Radio 2 DJ and Top Gear host Chris Evans who got on stage to greet the crowd, as well as video messages from Queen’s Brian May and magician Dynamo championing One Medicine and thanking the audience for their support.
The 2016 line up included The Sunshine Underground, Sound of the Sirens, Scouting for Girls, The Feeling, Reef and Starsailor.
The evening ended with a special surprise from Starsailor and Gary Stringer from Reef who together performed U2’s ‘One Love.’
One Live was full of very special and inspiring moments. The crowd concluded the festival by lighting up the grounds of Loseley Park to Take That's ‘Rule the World.’
The festival's founder and Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick had this to say:
“This has been the best night of my life so far. The field was electric and not a single person there will ever be the same again."
"Slowly but surely, people will realise that One Medicine is the most rational route forward to provide cures for disease in animals and humans at the same time. This will give us more respect for the planet – that’s why our vision is One Planet, One Love, One Medicine - and ultimately any society that looks after the animals looks after itself."
"One Live, in support of The Humanimal Trust, is my life’s dream. It’s much easier to inject music and magic into people’s veins than it is awareness about drugs and implants. This is the very first festival to celebrate the one thing that can save us – medicine – how mad is that? Most people in the field have a pet as a family member and they understand that to cure disease in their dog or their child, One Medicine is logical and sustainable. Whether it’s cancer or arthritis, we are all more-or-less the same."

"I said to everyone there that they are stars and that they will carry this light forward within them for the world. Tonight 5000 people, in a few years’ time 80,000 people all translating the magic of music into a miracle of medicine for the world.”
One Live is in support of The Humanimal Trust, the first UK charity to generate awareness and inspire participation and development of new clinically-relevant healthcare initiatives for the benefit of both animals and humans.
