A man has suffered injuries believed to be caused by an air rifle in Redhill as he walked through Redhill Memorial Park at around 4.30pm yesterday (Nov 25).
Officers were called by hospital staff after a man in his early 20s required treatment to a single wound to the chest suspected to be as a result of an air rifle pellet.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Glen Parker, said: “We are still in the early stages of establishing the full facts surrounding this incident but I would urge anyone in the memorial park area at the time of the offence to come forward and speak with officers.

Uniformed officers from the Reigate and Banstead Safer Neighbourhood Team will be assisting detectives with their investigation.
