Frimley shop manager punched in the head by robbers who tied his hands behind his back before stealing money and cigarettes
A store manager was left 'extremely shaken' following a robbery at a shop in Frimley earlier this morning (17 November).
The robbery happened around 6am when the manager of the One Stop in Ansell Road, Frimley, arrived to open up and was confronted by a group of men. They punched him to the side of the head before tying his hands behind his back.
The men, whose faces were covered, were all dressed in black and wearing gloves. They stole a quantity of money from the safe and a quantity of cigarettes before making their escape. It is believed they left in a vehicle.
The store manager did not require hospital treatment.
Officers are still at the shop dealing with the incident but are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious, or has any other information, to contact them as a matter of urgency.
