A man in his 50s has died following a serious collision on on the A24 in Leatherhead which occurred during the early hours of Saturday, 13 December.
The collision occurred when a black Mercedes and a silver Mazda sports car collided between the Beaverbrook roundabout and the Knowle roundabout.
Both drivers were taken to St Georges Hospital in Tooting by the Air Ambulance.
Sadly, the driver of the Mazda, a male in his 50s, has subsequently died.
The road was closed for around five hours to allow police to investigate the circumstances of the incident and other emergency services to attend the scene.
