Elderly woman dies following collision between car and pedestrian in Guildford
A pedestrian in her 70s involved in a collision in North Street, Guildford yesterday (Friday, 31 October) has sadly died.
Officers were called to the incident which involved a black Volkswagen car at around 7.35am and the woman was taken to St Georges Hospital in Tooting for treatment to serious injuries where today (Saturday, 1 November) she died.
Road closures were put in place in the immediate area while emergency crews attended the scene with all closures lifted at around 10.10am.
