A 5-year-old was threatened with a knife, and two men were left with head and body injuries when a violent robbery occured in the early hours of Sunday, 5 October.
Three men, described as possibly Asian with northern accents, knocked on a door and forced their way into a property in Ashview Gardens in Ashford, near the A308.
The offenders wore dark clothing, balaclavas and two of them are believed to have had a knife. One man was also equipped with a club hammer.
Two residents of the property, a 42-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were both injured during the incident and received injuries to the head and body.
The 42-year-old man's five-year-old son was also threatened with a knife during the ordeal.
"This was an extremely terrifying ordeal for all concerned and especially for the young boy" said Investigating Officer, Detective Constable Helen Flower.
"Thankfully he was not hurt in any way during the incident but naturally he has been left extremely shaken and distressed by it.
"The offenders used a great deal of force and aggression to attack these people in the middle of the night and the amount of brutality is grossly disproportionate to the fact that they injured two people, searched the house and left with just an iPhone, iPad and laptop.
