Sindhu, the Marlow Indian restaurant from Michelin-star winning chef Atul Kochhar, is offering pre-meal trips up the Thames on an Edwardian boat
It’s all plain sailing this summer at Sindhu, Marlow’s innovative Indian restaurant from high-profile Atul Kochhar – the first chef to win a Michelin star for Indian cuisine. You can read our interview with Twickenham's taste king about the opening of Sindhu.
Until the end of September, customers can enjoy a picturesque trip up the Thames on one of the restaurant’s two Edwardian replica vessels – either with their post-lunch coffee or as an idyllic preprandial cruise. The boats can host groups of up to a dozen guests, with the restaurant laying on drinks and canapés for parties.
Sindhu, which opened earlier this year within the gorgeous Compleat Angler Hotel, celebrates the very best in cuisine from India’s western coast: Goa, Karnataka, Kerala and Bangalore. Menus combine the unique culinary traditions of the area with Atul Kochhar’s passion for fine British ingredients.
