Top chef supper clubs at Wisley & Kew
Company of Cooks announces the launch of In Good Company, an event series that sees guest chefs, restaurateurs and producers preparing and cooking one-off menus in some truly incredible venues, such as RHS Gardens Wisley and RBG Kew.
The series of supper clubs will run until late September at venues including Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, RHS Garden Wisley, Chelsea Physic Garden, Kensington Palace and Chiswick House and Gardens, with events weekly across the whole of the summer season.
Chefs joining the initiative include José Pizarro, known as "the godfather of Spanish cooking in the UK", Douglas McMaster of pioneering zero-waste restaurant Silo, Professional Masterchef winner 2022 Nikita Pathakji and Karan Gokani of Hoppers.
Company of Cooks will also partner with gardeners and local producers to celebrate great produce at the height of the season. Its London Larder dinners feature some of London’s best-loved producers including H. Forman & Sons London Cure smoked salmon and Brindisa’s range of Spanish cured meats, tapas and dried goods.
From July 6 until Sept 21 at RHS Wisley and RBG Kew, Spanish chef José Pizarro and sustainable food pioneer Douglas McMaster, the visionary behind the world's first zero-waste restaurant, Silo, will host dinners crafted especially for the beautiful surroundings.
Also at Wisley from July until September, RHS Executive Chef Brwa Ahmad will prepare a seasonal three-course set menu inspired by the gardens, combined with a one-hour tour and a talk about the surroundings by an RHS curatorial expert.
