Dastaan
A top ranked restaurant and now in the Good Food Guide, this Indian restaurant has enjoyed an incredible amount of success especially considering it hasn't even celebrated its first anniversary.
The restaurant is owned by two former chefs of Mayfair's famous Gymkhana Indian restaurant, who have each won Michelin stars before. Sanjay Gour, 38, who runs the restaurant with fellow chef Nand Kishor and 'silent' business partner Amurag Singh, said: "It's our first restaurant together and we just try to make good food so this was a shock when the letter came through. We are not big-time and we didn't expect this."
"We have been told that our lamb chops are the best people have had in their whole lives."
All the food is British, apart from the spices. The restaurant also caters for vegetarians, vegans and people who are either lactose or gluten intolerant.
Dastaan's is exceptionally well priced, some restaurants with a similar calibre of chefs can see customers paying a small fortune, Mr Gour, however, says you can get two courses and a drink for £30.

Petriti's
Run by 43-year-old head chef Sokol Petriti and his wife Nargiza, Petriti's is a family-run restaurant in East Molesey. Despite only employing two full-time members of staff it has made it onto the list every year since it opened in 2015.
The menus range from a six-course tasting menu for £49 to a two-course set lunch menu, available Tuesday to Sunday, for £15. They can also cater for vegetarians and vegans.
Mr Petriti said: "It's fantastic to hear that we are on the Waitrose Good Food Guide. We change the menu seasonally and keep it to what best produce we can find. We used to change it every month but people would come back asking for the same dish and we wouldn't have it.
"All the produce is British and most days I head down to markets at 4am to get vegetables, fish and oysters. It's a tough industry but it's worth it when you get the recognition. We are looking at getting a Michelin star as that's the next step."

The Anchor
This is the only pub to make it onto the Good Food Guide in Surrey.

The Clock House
The Clock House was renamed from Drake's in January this year after Steve Drake split with his wife and set up The Anchor across the road. Under the name Drake's the restaurant held a michelin star for 11 years.
The Ripley based restaurant is the second new addition for Surrey to the Waitrose Good Food Guide for this year. The food is flavour focused, with an emphasis on clarity and simplicity. They offer tasting menus, rather than the more traditional a la carte, enabling them to focus on creativity and simple flavours.
Their produce is both local and regional, seeking the very best they can from within the UK.
