Artisan
Located in Ealing, East Sheen and Putney, Artisan prides itself on providing great tasting coffee, and with a selection of mouth watering cakes and snacks they have yet to disappoint. The coffee is well presented with latte art and I would hope so seeing as all of their baristas have 2 years or more experience. The beans in your coffee are sourced from Allpress Expresso, a specialist London based roaster. A selection of lemon and rosemary cakes or even a humble Anzac biscuit serve as the perfect accompaniment to your coffee.

Changing Perceptions
You might change your perception of the conventional coffee shop after visiting this quirky coffee hotspot located on Godalming high street. It’s a wonderful family-friendly space, perfect for meeting up with friends or just dropping in for a smile and a chat.
Changing Perceptions is a furniture 'up-cycling' social project with a difference. Operated by The Meath Epilepsy Charity, the enterprise seeks to provide vocational skills training for people affected by epilepsy and learning/physical disabilities. The Saleroom is also a gorgeous tea room which sells a wide range of speciality loose leaf teas by Nothing but Tea, freshly ground coffee from Peros Barista Coffee, homemade cakes, delicious light lunches and local produce.

Caracoli
Caracoli is a recent addition to the Haselemere high street and offers a spacious contemporary feel so that once you have browsed the extensive range of wonderful foods and gifts you can sit down and relax with a friend or enjoy some 'me time'. The handmade cakes and bakes are delicious and I can guarantee you will have a hard time resisting a Caracoli muffin.

Coffee Culture
Hidden from the bustling Guildford high street in Angel Gate is Coffee Culture, an independent coffee shop established in 1999. All the paninis, bagels and toasties are handmade onsite alongside locally sourced hand-baked goods (the banana spiced muffin is my firm favourite). All this mouthwatering food complements the wonderful coffee and Tea Pigs tea that is served. The outside seating on the cobbled street is the perfect place to sip, enjoy and watch the world go by.

Chief Coffee
Turnham Green Terrace Mews,, Surrey, W4 1QU
Chief Coffee is not your run-of-the-mill coffee house, situated in a quiet mews off Turnham Green Terrace. The cafe sits on the site of a Victorian bottling factory, most recently home to the iconic furniture company Isokon Plus. It is safe to say that the interior is well thought out and extremely impressive, making for a light, airy, clean, slick and welcoming space. The bespoke furnishings are not surprisingly from Isokon Plus. It is not just the furnishings that make this coffee shop so special, it is the 9 limited edition pinball machines located in the downstairs lounge that make enjoying your coffee here a unique experience. I recommend the Game of Thrones machine but some might argue Batman or The Hobbit are more popular.

Fego
Come by any day, any time, on your own or with family, colleagues or friends. Bring your laptop, bring your buggy, bring a board game if you like. Fego Cafe don’t believe in rules. No one will hassle you if you’d like to spend two hours over a coffee and won’t tell you that you can’t have eggs for dinner, or a steak for breakfast. You can order what you want, when you want it. Anything goes. Fego have sourced the finest, high altitude Arabica beans to exclusively slow-roast them, achieving optimum aroma and flavour intensity: unique to Fego so the coffee is great.

GAIL's
49 Church Road, Barnes, Surrey, SW13 9HH
GAIL's is artisan bakery which can be found in Farnham, Richmond, Barnes, Hampstead, East Sheen, Wimbledon Village and West Hampstead. Although not strictly a coffee shop, bakers rise early. Find your early starts a little easier with a good coffee. At Gail’s you’ll find a range of drinks to help wake you up and keep you refreshed throughout the day. Their signature blend is a Revelation espresso, an Italian-style, dark-roast classic made from Union Hand-Roasted Coffee. Once you have finished your coffee, pick up a world-class loaf from a seasonal, ever-changing range. You can choose a sandwich, freshly-made salad, or a slice of cake to go.

K.alm Kitchen
The rebranded K.alm Kitchen has replaced Glutton Glee, a Guildford favourite coffee and cake shop for over 4 years. K.alm Kitchen entices customers with perfect coffee, wholesome & nutritious salads, homemade juices & tempting treats. Everything is either handmade by K.alm Kitchen or by carefully selected suppliers who share a passion for all things artisan, to ensure the very best quality & taste. Although the new branding may place more emphasis on health food and bakes, the coffee is still amazing.

Krema Coffee House
5 Downing Street, Farnham, Surrey, GU9 7PB.
The historic market town of Farnham in Surrey is now home to Krema Coffee House. Freshly roasted specialty coffee is undoubtedly the star of the show along with a great range of loose-leaf teas, hot chocolate, cold press juices and soft drinks. Krema has a really cosy feel with patterned floor tiles, warm lighting and wooden tables. A lovely gem to take the kids to as there is a special kids hot chocolate (you can add chilli or gingerbread flavouring to your own if you are brave).

L'amandine
L'amandine was founded in 1993 and is located on Friars Stile Road in Richmond. The complementary colours of blue and orange make up a lot of the decor, offering a charming, warm environment to sit back and relax in while enjoying your coffee. On the menu are some unique coffee flavours such as The After Eight (inspired by the taste of an after eight mint chocolate combined with an expresso) and The Expresso with Ice Cream (Yes ice cream and expresso in one coffee cup - the best of coffee and dessert). The regular coffees are also available freshly ground from rich coffee beans daily.

Maddalenas
Maddalenas is a family run, friendly, stylish, cafe tea room with a hint of Italian, located in the heart of the Surrey countryside. Both the interior and exterior are beautiful, matching the wonderful tea, coffee and sweet treats available. I highly recommend the Lime and Pistachio cake. The afternoon tea here is sublime, so if you have a bit of time on your hands pop in for a coffee and a cuppa.

The canal side Season's Cafe and Kitchen is more than just a coffee shop as it happens to be situated within The Lightbox in Woking, a multi-award winning gallery and museum in the South East. The team behind The Tipsy Pigs have taken over the cafe focusing on making people happy through fantastic food and drink. Roam around the three stunning galleries hosting a huge range of exhibitions which change regularly, before enjoying a coffee and slice of delicious cake. If you are visiting with children you will find plenty to keep them occupied with hands-on activities and interactive displays.

The Green Rooms of Godstone
The Green Rooms of Godstone is run by couple Sylvia and Jeremy, parents of three whose aim was to create a relaxing space to escape, where they can drink coffee, eat cake and spend time with friends and family. If it's simply a decent cup of coffee to go or possibly an afternoon tea served in a vintage china cup, look no further.

The Press Room
6 Claremont Road Surbiton, Surrey, KT6 4QR
Although The Press Room has a lot of competition in Surbiton with 33 places selling coffee in the town, it was the first speciality coffee house in Surbiton. In my opinion, there is no better coffee shop than this. Brewing Origin Coffee and boasting 23 delightful varieties of tea from around the world, there's something for everyone to enjoy. I recommend Resolute, which offers a creamy cup with notes of chocolate cookie, toasted walnut, cocoa and dark toffee.

ToasT Oxted
A family run, independent cafe situated on Station Road East in central Oxted. Why ToasT Oxted? ... Well, they really like ToasT, so much that you'll find it has its own section on the menu! Right alongside the other fresh, home made dishes on offer, great tea and coffee. This coffee shop is a comfy and colourful place to sip on some freshly ground coffee or a lovely brew. A place to 'toast' to eating and drinking.

Two Many Cooks
Everyone has heard of the saying too many cooks spoil the broth. In the case of Too Many Cooks it is far from true. With two cafes in Dorking and Reigate no amount of cooks could take away from the locally roasted coffee. They grind from the bean to make a lovely latte or fabulous flat white. Both the coffee shops are a haven of fine food, good company and relaxation.
