Michelin star-trained owners Steven and Ami Ellis put their own luxurious spin on traditional dishes, thanks to the network of local suppliers they use.

With fresh-to-order food using seasonal produce, these homecooked meals are definitely worth the visit to the scenic Surrey Hills before tucking into dinner here. Head chef Nick has been working in local pubs for 11 years and upholds the high standard of produce and quality food served.

"As we always allow Dogs in, it would be wrong for us not to allow Partridges, as our name has both, so if you have a Partridge, he/she is also welcome. But please keep the Partridges separate from the Dogs, that may not end well."
6. The Plucky Pheasant
