Mark Jarvis joins The Bingham in Richmond
There’s a new chef in town! Mark Jarvis – who earned his stripes at Texture in Marylebone and Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons – has joined The Bingham.
It’s good timing for Richmond’s Georgian gem, as 2014 marks three decades in the hospitality business for the riverside hotel. There are lots of celebrations planned, including 30 giveaways during the course of the year – one of which will be the chance to hold your wedding at the hotel. Moreover, on the 30th of each month, 30 balloons will be released – catch one to win lunch for two.
Speaking of lunch, Mark has rustled up what looks like a fabulous new midday menu: three courses for £15, with a choice of dishes such as iron bark pumpkin soup, roasted seeds, middle white pork quince, celeriac, bacon and rhubarb Eton mess.
Lunch is from 12 noon – 2.30pm Monday to Friday (not bank holidays) until April 30. Wise to book in advance.
