Debraggio
1 Duke Street, Richmond, TW9 1HP
Debraggio is a small and very authentic deli/café in the heart of Richmond. It is a hot-spot for lunch, often with a loyal following queuing for a daily-changing menu of excellent and authentic pasta dishes and filled ciabattas. It is most popular as a takeaway, but there is an upstairs seating area where you can relax with a glass of their great range of Italian wines.

Ecklee
Ecklee is a brilliant Middle-Eastern shop just next to Motspur Park station. Fresh fruit, vegetables and bundles of fresh herbs are all excellent, as is the vast range of spices and dried pulses. The highlight is the authentic Middle-Eastern bread baked at the back of the shop daily; Tannor and Sammon bread, along with cheese sambousek and spinach mannoush. But make sure to arrive before midday as they sell out fast. I also highly recommend that you try the fresh naan bread, which you will find near the tills!

Established over 15 years ago, Fratelli is a little Italian haven in a hidden corner of Kingston-Upon-Thames. They specialise in excellent Italian meats, such as mortadella and pancetta, but also have a great selection of cheese, olives and other antipasti. The café also serves excellent Italian coffee and pastries.

H Mart
H Mart is a vast supermarket located between Kingston and New Malden. They specialise in Korean food, but also stock a huge range of Japanese, Thai and Chinese products. The selection is simply mind-blowing, with whole aisles dedicated to dried noodles and soy sauce. Fresh produce is also excellent, with a live fish counter and ready-made sushi and kimchi. The shop is also accompanied by an authentically loud K-Pop soundtrack.

Paya Thai Supermarket
To call Natoora a greengrocer is a misnomer. This fresh produce specialist on Turnham Green Terrace in Chiswick is focused solely on seasonal produce; you will never find peaches in their stores in December, for example. They know the origins of every single product they stock and their displays look like paintings. Prices are not low, but this reflects the incredible quality and care that goes into their stock. Pop in for a taster, as they always have something delicious to try.

Quality Foods Hounslow
With a branch in Hounslow, Quality Foods is one of the best places for Asian foods and speciality produce. There is little you cannot find in this vast space, with an emphasis on bundles of fresh herbs, authentic pickles and vast piles of chillis and mangos. It is not the most aesthetically pleasing shopping experience, but the sheer range of products is astounding. If there is a spice you cannot find here, it doesn’t exist.

Seoul Plaza
Korea Foods have been importing authentic Korean produce since 1999. They now have 11 outlets, but the original one was, and still is, in New Malden. They stock a huge range of oriental produce and the staff are helpful and knowledgeable about the products. This is a great place for gochujang sauce and frozen gyoza skins.
