The first ever Great Cranleigh Bake Off is at Swallowhurst on September 26. Enter before September 19 and get baking!
Think you've got a recipe that could get Mary Berry drooling and have Paul Hollywood asking for seconds? Head down to Maddalenas Café Tea Room on Cranleigh High Street before September 20, and you can pick up an entry form to the first Great Cranleigh Bake Off for £5.
If you're a fan of the show, you'll know what's expected!
There are three categories to compete in:
- Show Stopper: bake the best novelty cake, with the theme of "House".
- Technical Challenge: who will turn out the perfect pastry?
- Signature Bake: a cupcake contest for kids only, with two age ranges (6-8 and 8-12).
Bake your entries and turn them in on September 26 at Swallowhurst, a development on Bookhurst Road from Linden Homes, in partnership with Wates Developments. All profits from the event go to Macmillan Cancer Support as part of its World's Biggest Coffee Morning campaign.
