A popular café for locals to meet in, Fego offers everything a breakfast venue should: a classic full English, healthy options and ‘Indulgent Treats’ (the Crunchy Nut brioche French toast is a must for Nutella fans). Amazing food for great value.

Natter Café
A cosy hub in the small village of Farncombe, this café is famous among locals for their freshly baked croissants, cakes and cookies on display daily. The food is proper home-cooked goodness, but beware: their full English breakfast is delicious but the portion size is not for the faint-hearted! Go for the ½ English breakfast option if you’re not feeling quite so brave…

No.1a Duke Street
A contemporary brunch hub focusing on offering well-sourced ingredients, the café offer both breakfast and lunch options. Combining both in one dish, however, is the No 1 Breakfast Burger including a beef pattie or roasted mushroom and crushed avocado, fried egg, Cornish yarg and burger sauce. In other words, the ultimate brunch choice.

Brew
The bacon sandwich is arguably one of the most quintessentially British breakfasts there is, but this café take it one step further by using treacle cured bacon and adding tomato jam, aioli and vine tomatoes to the mix. This, and the rest of the breakfast menu is all very good value, meaning you can afford to splurge on one of their dirty juices or hard shakes.

Ben's Canteen
Enjoy a more boozy brunch at Ben’s Canteen with one of their Bottomless Bubbles brunches. Complete with two hours of free flowing fizz and a smaller food menu to choose from to accompany for just £25 per person. Alternatively, enjoy one of their impressive Brunch Buns – the Recovery Burger has hangover cure written all over it.
Breakfast served 10am-4pm Monday-Thursday and 9am-4pm Friday-Sunday.

Orange Pekoe
Specialising in loose leaf tea, Orange Pekoe is a great option for a tea lover as well as a foodie - the toasted banana bread special with greek yogurt and other accompaniments makes a great pairing for a large pot of their loose leaf tea. The café has a lovely outdoor terrace available for customers craving sun, although tables do still fill up quickly so reservations are recommended.
Breakfast served until 12pm weekdays and 1pm weekends.

Paws For Coffee
Offering two menus – one for humans and one for dogs – this café encourages dog owners to bring their pets along for breakfast. Human favourites include the breakfast toastie – complete with bacon, sausage, fried egg and cheese – while dogs are offered puppacinos and dried chews to name a few.

Pickled Pantry
Proud owners of this café source all their fruit, veg, dairy and meat from Surbiton-based distributors. They also include a historical, quirky option called ‘The Trencher’ on their menu, where your breakfast is served on a piece of bread. Add to this their numerous vegan options and this is certainly somewhere you’ll be too intrigued not to visit.

The Fallow Deer
Enjoy a breakfast burrito, Eggs Fallow or The Full Herd washed down with a classic Bloody Mary or hot drink. The Full Herd and The Veggie have a tea or coffee included in the price too, making it great value. If you still have room after all that, the cakes are to die for too…
