The Grey Horse is quite different from your usual local, with different themed events every night there's something for everyone to enjoy. Not only does it boast a gorgeous restaurant in the back that serves barbecue food (the burgers are to die for), but a theatre that's hidden in the back and a whiskey collection to keep you occupied for a while.

As you enter, you're greeted with a cosy bar that leads on to an impressive dining area, which depicts a mural of the famous Hendrix and an open kitchen. However, unlike popping into your local for one or two walking into The Grey Horse is a different experience each night you visit.

Dance on Monday

On a Monday night, they hold beginner swing dance classes and you don't need a partner to attend. The beginner classes are held at 7 pm before the more advanced dancers take centre stage at 8.30 pm. This is a drop-in class, so you don't need to book ahead, but just show up with your dancing shoes.

Pub Quiz on Tuesday

Who doesn't love a good pub quiz? On Tuesday night's The Grey Horse holds a pub quiz, which makes for a fun mid-week break! There's a £50 bar tab in it for the winner, alongside mystery prizes and a wheel of fortune.

Wednesday Jam

Open mic night can be a little scary for some people, but don't worry you don't have to show off your musical talents. The Grey Hound has become the hotspot for local people and musicians to come together, sit back and enjoy music. It's truly something special - even if you're not singing yourself!
