Yehudi Menuhin School
Spotlight 6
Experience the passion and dedication of our remarkable young musicians here at the Yehudi Menuhin School in a thrilling series of concerts featuring solos – from major sonatas to the lightest of musical desserts – as well as chamber music and works by our pupils whose first study is composing rather than playing an instrument.
In line with the season’s theme around the ‘Seven Last Words’, each of these seven concerts will feature one of ‘seven last works’. Written by composers at the pinnacle of their creative ability, these final works often convey a feeling of remarkable urgency and clarity, yet with an exquisite sense of lightness and simple sincerity.
Many of our concerts this year will be followed by post-concert receptions, giving you a chance to meet some of the young musicians who have just performed. Further information about this concert will be posted nearer the time.
