Are you a smoky leather lover? Or more of a fruity fig? Our sense of smell is uniquely personal, and a new series of workshops gives you a chance to explore exactly what tickles your olfactory taste buds and to create your own bespoke fragrance. Set up by Esher’s Nicole Brannan, Elix Fragrance offers two-hour workshops which take you through ten ‘accords’, the building blocks of perfumery, sampling blends of citrus, floral, herby, beachy, woody and amber to create a 30ml personalised scent.
“Since Covid, we’ve all enjoyed more creative and mindful pursuits. Creating your own fragrance with friends is such a lovely shared experience,” says Nicole. And if you get the bug, Elix also sells a rather beautiful fragrance-building gift set to experiment at home.
