Crafting is back big time and what could be more fun than learning how to make your own candles with a bunch of friends at Surrey’s first candle bar?
To celebrate the opening of its new shop and studio in Shepperton on May 21, the lovely folk at artisan candle makers Willow & Finn are offering a chance for a group of up to six friends to blend their own fragrance and create their own personally fragranced soy wax candle.
Lasting 30-40 minutes, the workshops take place in the beautifully scented riverside studio behind the Ferry Coffee Shop in Shepperton and are run by owner Nicky, who has a background in aromatherapy and massage. You'll learn all about the therapeutic benefits of essential oils and using a fragrance wheel to blend.
Closing date May 30. You can find out more about Willow & Finn at willowandfinn.co.uk or pop along to the newly opened Ferry Coffee Shop Artisan Courtyard, a treasure trove of small independent craft and gift shops with a lovely outdoor cafe setting.
