Cricket legend and former Surrey resident Freddie Flintoff has launched his new fashion collection - Rosanna Greenstreet wonders what he's wearing, now that the whites are out
What sort of clothes do you enjoy wearing?
For everyday wear I like to be comfortable - sweatpants, a t-shirt and Nike Air Max. But I also enjoy having the chance to dress smartly and put on a three piece suit.
Who's your style icon?
Elvis!
Do you like shopping?
No, not at all – I prefer doing it online.
What trends are you looking forward to wearing this season?
I’ll mainly be wearing cargo shorts and have got a great pair in my new Jacamo collection that I’ll get a lot of wear out of this summer. My personal favourite from the new range is the short sleeved denim shirt so I’ll be wearing that too – probably not with jeans though as I don’t really know the rules on double denim…!
What have been your biggest fashion faux pas?
I would have to say a silver Armani jacket that I wore a long time ago - absolute stinker!
What are your clothing essentials?
Plain t-shirts in white, black and blue.
What are your style tips for summer?
Don’t be afraid to try new things, I’ve started wearing brighter colours which is a change for me this summer. Most importantly, dress for yourself and wear clothes that you are comfortable in.
