I will admit to a complicated relationship with Indian food. I love the spices, the smells, the variety – but sometimes my weak palate says otherwise; many an evening has seen me wolfing down a lamb bhuna or chicken jalfrezi with tears streaming down my face, tall glass of ice water sitting faithfully by the plate. Despite this, I still continue this love/hate relationship and will never stop trying to finish my bhuna.

Having been named 'Best In Surrey' by Pat Chapman, founder of the Curry Club, Warlingham's aptly-named India Dining has a lot to prove, and does so with a unique menu that's been described as "Indian food with a European gourmet twist". Don't expect the usual here, but do expect food that lives up to its price.

Everest Spice
Everest Spice was awarded a Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor, and it's earned it. It's middle-of-the-road in terms of price, but its wide range of dishes are beautifully presented, and the staff are known for their accommodating service.

Atithi Indian Cuisine
Voted as one of the top restaurants in Twickenham and holding a Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor, it is not hard to see why Atithi Indian Cuisine is a local favourite. Offering a twist on traditional Indian dishes, the restaurant also has a wide variety of vegetarian plates, of which the Balgan Bharta is highly recommended.

Doubling as a bar, Camberley Tandoori has good prices and its excellent takeaway service is central to its success. The welcoming atmosphere and delicious food are too!

The Spice Village's best surprise is the sheer range of food it has on offer, such as being one of the few Indian restaurants to qualify under HMC criteria for Halal. Cuisines from Punjabi to Gujarati are all on offer, which makes it ideal for large parties with a variety of palettes.

Roz Ana is an absolute gem of an Indian restaurant based on Kingston Hill. The restaurant specialises in regional Indian food with a rotating monthly focus on different regions reflected in the menu. The service is friendly, efficient and charming.
They also do an array of sumptuous cocktails to wash it all down with – what more could you want?

Jai Ho The Coppingham Arms
Tucked inside the Coppingham Arms, Jai Ho offers an excellent atmosphere with well-timed and friendly service. Good prices and lovely food have even attracted Shane Lynch of Boyzone fame, who reportedly enjoys the restaurant every now and then.

With high quality ingredients and exciting flavours seated alongside the traditional, Ashuka Tandoori offers great food in a cozy setting. This is a gorgeous Indian restaurant, popular with the locals for its incredible flavours and attentive service.
To avoid any disappointment, just be aware that the restaurant is closed all day Tuesday.

The food is exquisite and the service incredible – you couldn't ask for anything more.

Everest Spice
The Nepalese cuisine in this restaurant is to die for, with succulent meats and perfectly spiced sauces. The waiters and waitresses treat all their customers like family, which really adds to the relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend the Padahi lamb.

Bombay Night

Bombay Night is quite simply the best tandoori restaurant in the Woking area, with a wide choice of Bangladeshi and Indian food.
The food is beautiful and the restaurant itself has a lovely ambience. Well worth a trip to Woking to check it out.
